About

For many athletes, the roar of the crowd feels almost impossible to replace when it quiets. Former athletes often struggle with feelings of depression, isolation, and loss of identity when their athletic careers are over. Whether they played collegiately, professionally, or even recreationally, this loss of identity can be immensely challenging. Coupled with the cognitive challenges that are often experienced as a result of injuries that occur during contact sports, the transition away from athletics can be volatile.

As part of our mission, we aim to bring light into this dark transitional period for athletes. Our goal is to create a nationwide community of support in the hopes that this will eliminate a portion of the tragedies associated with the transition away from sports.

Founded and operated by a group of individuals with deep ties to veterans and current members of the armed services, Lost Dreams also feels passionately about supporting those who have put their lives on the line in order to serve our country.

We are proud to partner with organizations that share our values so we can make a difference together. Collectively, Lost Dreams and our partners believe we can make a difference in the lives of the individuals we serve. We also serve our communities directly with education, outreach, and support.

We act as a fiscal sponsor to creatives whose work aligns closely with our values as well. Click below to find out more about how our current creative partner uses the funds we raise to spread our mission through their media.
